Eric Hagerbrant is a Rye Brook, New York health executive who has served as president of Imaging Management Services of America since 1991. Engaging with physicians and providers, his company delivers accurate administrative management solutions for diagnostic CAT, PET scans, and MRI and functional MRI. In addition, Eric Hagerbrant is active with the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology
Mr. Hagerbrant earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Columbia University on a pre-med track. Over the decades, he has followed advances in medical science closely and has a particularly strong knowledge of the role of stem cell factors in regenerative medicine. This field can potentially reverse some of the natural decline in organs and faculties people experience as they age.
With his wife, Mr. Hagerbrant has also led a nonprofit since 2014 that supports those with Parkinson’s disease. Through the organization, they have raised around $300,000 toward research on an illness for which a cure still does not exist. He also provides people access to the Empower app. Developed by the University of Rochester and Sage Bionetworks, this wearable app enables those with Parkinson’s to monitor themselves and transmit data to the broader research community.
